Walk da Rock
Walk da Rock – Health Walks in Shetland
Walk da Rock is a local walking project offering volunteer-led walks across Shetland. Supported by Walking Scotland, the Scottish Walking Charity, our walks are led by trained walk leaders and follow risk-assessed routes.
Walk da Rock is open to people of all ages and abilities, with a particular focus on beginners or anyone looking to gently build activity into their routine. Walks usually last between 20 - 50 minutes, and the walk leader will adapt the pace and route on the day to suit the group’s abilities and fitness levels. After the walk, you can choose to stay for a cuppa and a chat together at a local café or hall.
To find out about upcoming walks and stay in the loop, join our Walk da Rock Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/walkdarock/
We are always looking for new volunteers to lead walks to help grow the project!
If you are interested in setting up a walk in your local area, get in touch with us and we can support you with this, every step of the way.
